Blue Like Jazz, by Donald MillerIf you have read Don Miller's book you will understand why it has been so hugely successful and it should come as no surprize that this was our first selection. Blue Like Jazz is a one-of-a-kind, wonderful, thought provoking book. Every chapter is just as good as the one before it and you will not want it to end. Miller bonds with his readers through his conversational style, his many stories about his Portland friends, and his honesty about the issues facing the Christian church today. That, coupled with his obvious respect and love for Christ and His church, was refreshing. Give this book a chance and you may truly fall in love with Jesus. A perfect 10.
